I started kitesurfing in 2014. Instantly I got hooked by the sport. The positive feeling of high kiteloops in strong winds helps me to accept the sometimes painful consequences of gravity. That makes me look for the windy spots on our planet and made me fall in love with Cape Town.

As a "regular" rider aiming for height, it can't get better than in Cape Town with its strong side shore breeze and a decent swell coming at an angle of 90 degrees to the wind.
