Unfortunately with an unplanned stop at the Azores Stella Nova is on its way to Quebec in Canada for the start of the Transat from Quebec to St. Malo.
With Stella Nova we were able to beat the competition by 1 day and to decrease the time from 2011 by 5 days. The Prizegiving ceremony was held at the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes last friday.
I say thank you to: The low pressure system for taking us all across the atlantic with 25-40 knots, the warm front for keeping us warm, Stella Nova for staying in one peace, Armel Tripon and Jörg Riechers for bringing experience of combined 20 transatlantic races onbord and Burkhard Keese for making everything possible.
