Leaving a port for an ocean race and entering the unknown just with some weather data is always a nervous moment. A good plan helps you to decrease some of the risk factors but most will stay unknown until you know. Ocean Racing is teaching me how to deal with the unknown.

With place 3 on the first leg from Sable to Horta and place 5 on the second leg we finished 4th overall in the regatta. Challenging conditions and strong competition made it an exciting race and a good practice run for upcoming double handed events.
